Together Again!
In February we have two exciting days this month. They are always associated with people getting together: 1) Super Bowl parties and 2) Valentine’s Day. Because of this I am reminded of the importance it is for brethren to get together, like it says in Hebrews 10:23-25.
“23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (NJKV)
Here we are starting a new year with new opportunities. Make it a habit to be faithful to your church in attendance and also seek to fellowship with your brethren in the Lord.
Who you rub elbows with will be the MOST important relationship tip to know; because they will have the MOST impact in your life, either for the good or for the bad. Even the Bible lets us know the importance to this truth and charges us to be with our brethren in person for the expressed purpose of walking in love with each other.
