Artwork? Quilts? Music? Videos? Coffee? Meals? Gifts? Or none of the above? Whether you pursue hobbies or not, you are creating every day with your words. Words are powerful and they are creative.
The earth was without form, and void; and darknesswas on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:2-3
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3
Today you are creating with your words the life that you will live tomorrow. What you are living in today is a result of the words and the beliefs of last week, last month, and last year.
Many people have allowed the events of the past years to influence and to change their beliefs and their words. Many people feel like they are living in chaos and darkness. How do you change that? The same way God did—with your words.
God spoke what He wanted to be, and it happened. The same is true for you and I today. Words are still creating in this earth.
The Spirit of God was hovering, waiting for the words to be spoken so that He could go to work. If you are born again, the Spirit of God is living in your heart, waiting for you to speak the Word so that He can take action to change things.
The physical world that we see was created by the Word of God. That Word has the same power to work change in the earth as it did so long ago when God spoke and began to create beauty out of chaos and darkness.
Your words are creating your surroundings for tomorrow. Are they creating light or darkness, beauty or chaos? Are you speaking words that the Spirit of God can respond to creatively, or He is just hovering in your life?
Pay attention to what you are saying because you are creating your life with your words.
